BOOKED & BUSY brought a cinematic, city-wide holiday storyline to life for Grüns with a multi-touch, guerrilla activation that blurred the line between performance, street theater, and sampling, culminating in an intimate, influencer led celebration.
The narrative kicked off with Barry stumbling upon the Grinch’s abandoned sleigh in the heart of New York City, present boxed torn open, Grüns Grinch Snacks gummies strewn across the scene, and visible traces of the Grinch’s notoriously questionable diet left in his wake. Once he realized the gummies were actually good for him, the Grinch fled, launching a city-wide pursuit to prove that healthy habits don’t have to feel like punishment (and can, in fact, taste good).
From there, the sleigh became a moving beacon, activating three high-traffic, culturally iconic locations, Columbus Circle, Saks Fifth Avenue/Rockefeller, and Washington Square Park, each designed as a chapter in the story. These stops combined cheeky visual cues, live sampling, and onsite engagement moments to spark curiosity, fuel organic social sharing, and drive real time product trial.
The capstone moment unfolded at a curated influencer Who-Feast inspired dinner party on ‘Mt. Crumpit’, where Barry finally tracked down the Grinch and staged his official “conversion” into a Grüns fan. Serving Who-Roast Beast, Who-Hash, Who-Pudding, and dining on a serpentine, candlelit tablescape, fully immersing attendees into the storybook. This intimate gathering extended the story into a premium, content-rich setting, generating highly shareable moments and reinforcing the campaign’s core message: Greens aren’t so mean after all!
